HIT Provisions of the Federal Stimulus Package
On February 17th, President Obama signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). A portion of the law creates the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act or the HITECH Act. The ND HIT Steering Committee members are in the process of evaluating opportunities to access as much funding as possible to promote the adoption, implementation and effective use of health information technology in in our state.
